Diversity Award - Deadline for nominations April 30, 2008.
The Diversity Award recognizes the person and/or entity that demonstrates the highest morality and respect for all persons and diversity, for efforts and allegiance to creating diversity and promoting a more diverse workplace. Diversity shall be defined as encouraging more gender, racial, ethnic, religious and other minority participation in law schools, the practice of law, in all areas of the law, including private, corporate, and public or government practices. The YLD will make a monetary donation to the recipient’s charity of choice.
Outstanding Young Lawyer Affiliate Award -

This award recognizes a young lawyer affiliate in Florida for excellence in public service, member service, and creative use of resources. This award is presented at the Affiliate Outreach Conference.
Outstanding Jurist Award - Deadline for nominations April 30, 2008.
The Outstanding Jurist award is given to one with an excellent reputation for sound judicial decisions and an unblemished record of integrity as a lawyer and judge; is generally recognized by Bar members as highly qualified; is active in Bar related activities open to the judiciary; and demonstrates concern for and willingness to assist young lawyers and respects their abilities. The Lynn Futch Most Productive Young Lawyer Award -
Deadline for nominations April 30, 2008.
This award is given to a young lawyer who is not a member of the Florida Bar YLD Board of Governors, who has worked most diligently in the past year in Bar activities and/or law related public activities and who has an excellent reputation for legal abilities and integrity.

Most Outstanding Public Service Project -
Deadline for nominations TBA..
The award for the most outstanding public service project is awarded to a public service project presented, performed, or participated in during the administrative Bar year by a local section, division, or committee exclusively or in cooperation with one or more Young Lawyers Sections, Divisions or Committees. The project must serve the public and community, enhance the relationship of Young Lawyers to the public and community and be innovative. The project shall be conducted exclusively by Young Lawyers of a local section, division or committee, with the size of the local section, division or committee being considered. This award will be presented at the Affiliate Outreach Conference.
Most Outstanding Member Service Project -
Deadline for nominations TBA.
The award for the most outstanding member service project is awarded to a member service project presented, performed, or participated in during the administrative Bar year by a local section, division, or committee exclusively or in cooperation with one or more Young Lawyers Section, Divisions or Committees. The project should internally serve Young Lawyers in the section, division or committee, provide for membership enrichment and be innovative. The project shall be conducted exclusively by Young Lawyers of a local section, division or committee being considered. This award will be presented at the Affiliate Outreach Conference.
Michael K. Reese Quality of Life Award - Deadline for nominations April 30, 2008.
The Quality of Life Award awarded to the person and/or entity, which through humanitarian respect advances balance and fulfillment in lawyers’ lives by redefining current work habits and schedules to provide more flexibility and a more meaningful existence. Quality of Life shall be defined as finding equilibrium between work and family and community involvement to maximize good health and minimize stress in one’s career. The YLD will make a monetary donation to the recipient’s charity of choice.

This award is bestowed at a ceremony in Tallahassee in January/February of each year in
