SERVE AND PROTECT THE PUBLIC - ASSISTANT GENERAL COUNSEL – The Florida Board of Bar Examiners, located in Tallahassee, is seeking applications for Assistant General Counsel.  The Board is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Florida.  The Board’s paramount responsibility is to serve and protect the public by ensuring that those who are admitted to practice law in Florida possess good moral character and the required level of competence.  The Board fulfills this responsibility by conducting thorough background investigations of all bar applicants and by administering the bar examination.  Qualified candidates for Assistant General Counsel must be a member of The Florida Bar for a minimum of five years.  Trial or governmental hearing experience required.  Primary responsibility will be the preparation and presentation of cases at administrative hearings before the Board.  Anticipated starting salary range is $55k to $65k depending on qualifications and experience.  Excellent benefits.  Some travel required.  More information and the application for this position is posted on the Board’s website at www.floridabarexam.org.  If you have questions, please contact Michele A.
