Affiliate Outreach Conference
will be held in Daytona Beach
on January 18-19, 2013

The Shores Resort, Daytona Beach Shores
Overview of the 2013 Young Lawyers Division Affiliate Outreach Conference
Dear Affiliates,
Each winter, The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division ("YLD") hosts its Annual Affiliate Outreach Conference ("AOC"). The conference allows affiliate and law student leaders from around the state to socialize, share ideas, and present grant project proposals.
The 2013 AOC will be held at the Shores Resort in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida on Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19, 2013. The theme for the weekend is Racing to Serve, which celebrates both the racing history of Daytona and the community service that Florida’s young lawyers do all across the state.
Below is a guide that will provide you with information regarding who should attend the AOC, whether you can be reimbursed for your attendance, how to register, what programming is offered, and how to apply for grants and awards. After reviewing these materials, please contact AOC Co-Chairs Matthew Welch (msw@kvplaw.com) and Katherine Hurst Miller (katherine.miller@cobbcole.com) should you have any questions about the conference.
We look forward to welcoming you to Daytona in January!
Sincerely,
Matthew Welch & Katherine Hurst Miller
